How to apply for a degree certificate? If you are one of those who did not collect the convocation certificate from Savitribai Phule Pune University right after your degree completion, you are at the right place. If you have missed the convocation ceremony and you want a degree certificate you need to apply for a Supplementary Convocation on the University’s official website.
Please note that the Degree and Convocation certificate is the same.
You would need the below details to apply for the certificate. You will get these details on your final year’s mark sheet.
- College/Department PUNCODE
- Course Name
- PRN Number
- Seat Number
- Passout Month
- Passout Year
- Final year marksheet in PDF format.
Steps to apply for a certificate.
Step 1: To apply for the degree certificate click on the below link.
https://sim.unipune.ac.in/sim_app/Account/CreateAccount
Once you click on the above link, the below window will be opened. Here you will have to create a student account. Fill in the required details in the highlighted fields. i.e. Nationality, Student Name, Email Id & Mobile Number.
Step 2: Once you fill in all the required details, click on Verify Email and Mobile No. button. You will get OTP on your Mobile number and an Email ID.
Step 3: Enter the Email OTP and Mobile OTP in respective fields. Choose a Password of your own, Enter the Captcha Test and click on Create Account button.
Step 4: After successful verification of OTPs you will get the below pop-up window.
Step 5: Click on the Go To Login button. You will get the below window. You can either log in by Mobile No. or Email ID. Enter the password entered while creating the profile. Enter Captcha and click on the Login button.
Step 6: After successful login, you will get below dashboard window. Here click on the Apply for Degree Certificate button.
Step 7: Once you click on that button, the Certificate application form will be opened. Fill out all the required detail. Make sure you fill your Correspondence/Current address correctly, you will get your certificate at the current address by Post.
Step 8: Once you fill in all the information and click on the SAVE button. In the next window, you will see your details and Apply for Degree Certificate button. Click on that.
Step 9: On the next window, you will 3 different options.
- To apply for a regular certificate – This is for regular students
- To apply Supplementary Convocation Certificate
- Apply to Duplicate Convocation Certificate – In case you need a duplicate one.
You have to click on Apply to Supplementary Convocation Certificate button.
Step 10: You will see the below window on the next page. Fill in the details on the next window and click on Submit button.
Step 11: On this screen, you will have to upload your final year’s mark sheet in PDF format.
Step 12: After uploading the document, you will see Proceed to pay button below. Click on that and make the payment. You will receive a Convocation certificate by Post at your address.
