Having a driving license is very crucial for anyone aged 18 and above. Today, in India almost every person has a bike or car, to drive safely without worrying about traffic police you must have a driving license.
In this tutorial, I will give you a step-by-step guide to getting DL online. In order to get a permanent driving license you first need to get Learning Licence and then apply for a permanent one after one month and within six months.
Since I am from Maharastra, I will explain the steps to get a license for Maharashtra.
Steps to get Learning Licence.
Step 1: Visit https://sarathi.parivahan.gov.in/ and select your state name from the dropdown menu.
Once you select the state name below window will be opened.
Step 2: Click on Apply for the Learner license option from the below page.
On the next page, click on the continue button.
Step 3: Once you click on the continue button below window will appear. From the below window select the first option i.e. Applicant does not hold any Driving/Learner license issued in India
After selecting the first option, the below window will be opened.
Step 4: From the below screen, select the first option i.e Submit via Aadhaar Authentication
This option makes the whole process much easier.
Once you select the first option, the below window will be opened.
Step 5: On the below screen, you need to enter your Adhar number and OTP. Take necessary actions on highlighted points.
Step 6: On the next screen, please fill in the required details and submit the application.
